Ok so I had an update almost done and my computer froze....irritating!!!!
So for now I am going to just add the new beads set and be done with it since it's getting late.
"Sandy Waters"
It's a really pretty set and would look great etched! If you choose to have it etched them don't forget to check out the beach glass in the summer create your own section....they would go great with it!
I had added this in my "frozen" update so I'll just direct you to my business site and you can check it out there.
Go to www.beadboutiqe.us and check out our newest concept "Forever After Memory Beads". I'm in love with this idea so let me know what you think.
I hope you have a great week and I'll be back soon with new beads.
Thursday, May 10th
This week has been full of running around. Sometimes I don't even know where the day goes....it's crazy! Today was the Mother's Day Tea at Anderson's school; now that I think about it we didn't have any tea....hmmmm? Anyway, we had snacks, made paper towel flowers and door knob tags, read stories, and just had a fun mommy big boy hour. It was nice to be able to spend some time with Anderson without Emma. Don't get me wrong I love having her sweet face around but time alone with each child is always a welcomed event. I would show you pictures but Anderson was not in a picture mood today and covered his face with his hands whenever anyone tried to take one.
I do however have a hilarious picture to share with you from a birthday party we attended last weekend.
Anderson and Emma were playing with those little party paper things you blow into and they fly out like a frogs tongue....what's the name?
Anyway, he was blowing it into her face and she was cracking up. I of course was snapping pictures and captured this one.....
It would scare her every time and then she would laugh like crazy....I'm guessing this was the part where she was scared. Cracks me up!
By the way it was a super hero party which is why Emma has on a lightening bolt headband (made by me) and Batman shirt.
I am still making new headbands and have also started making clips which are great for weddings, I have also listed some new ones in the Headband section.....

Also, please like my page on FB if you get a chance.....just search

That's all for today. I'm working on some new beads right now and they should be up next week. Until then have a wonderful week and thank you so much for supporting zbeadz!
Ps: can you stand the cuteness!?!?!?!

"Spring time fun!"
The weather is warming up and we are starting to spend a lot of time outside. I completely forgot how hard it is to take a little one out in the yard. I have to watch her constantly or she'll stick a leaf, stick, grass, etc. in her mouth. Gone are the days of sitting in a chair reading a magazine while the kids play....at least for another year or so:)
Well I told you I would post pictures so here they are....Emma's new ears:)
She looks thrilled right?
She wasn't very happy after being woken up to have her ears pierced; unfortunately the only time they had was during her nap time so we had no choice. I tried to keep her up but once I get the car moving she's out. It's been three days and she hasn't messed with them once! I'm not a fan of the big silver ball but we didn't have a choice of earring. I can change them in August right before her birthday....we'll have to get her some little diamond studs:)
Anderson is having a blast raising the baby chicks. He asks to go over to my mom and dads every day to see them and loves to take them outside. We've only taken two out at a time but last night we packed them all up in a box and took them out. Anderson loves to pick them up which I'm sure the baby chicks love....haha. My dad is in the process of building a coop which he said will be done next week. They will still be inside for another few weeks since the temperature fluctuates so much this time of year. I'll keep the pictures coming as they grow. I told my parents that they are in that ugly teenager stage...they look like baby chicks on their head and are getting adult feathers on their bodies.
"This is Anderson's chicken....she's the only one with black wings and her name is Aunt Megan...lol:)

I do have one new bead set to share with you. My favorite color right now is coral.....I LOVE it!
So of course I had to make a coral set.
"Coral Squish"
That's it for today.
We're headed out for some fun on the slip-n-slide!
Have a great day!
Ps: new headbands are posted on my FB page....Jennifer Zeiger Designs

"New Beads"
Good Morning! I have two new sets for you today.
"Lemon Twist"
and
"Tangerine"
Both are perfect for fun summer bracelets. Pick up some Flowers from the "Flower Cap" section and you'll have the perfect summer style bracelet!
Besides making new beads we have been keeping busy with school, swimming lessons, playing with friends, and the normal everyday family stuff. Last night we got a baby sitter and headed up to Cleveland for my sisters birthday. She planned a night at Dave and Buster's which was nothing like I expected....that place is huge! The wait for dinner was 2 1/2 hours so we ended up leaving and going to another restaurant and then headed back to play some games. Josh and I didn't stay more than 30 min. since we still had an hour drive home. It was still nice to get out and have a night to ourselves. We have never had a sitter that long for the kids nor have we ever went that far away so it was a big night out for us....lol.
Anderson is loving his swimming lessons and asks me to go every day! Yesterday Josh took the kids to a kids day event at the YMCA so that should buy me a little more time from him asking to go there. Swimming is tomorrow after lunch so I'm sure he'll be begging to go first thing in the morning.
Emma was supposed to get her ears peirced last Tuesday but the Saturday before that she came down with a double ear infection...poor little girl! Her appt. is now scheduled for this coming Thursday...wish us luck! They actually do it right at her doctors which makes me feel better about it. We want to get it done early so she doesn't mess with it when she is older. I'll post pictures after the event.
In the mean time you can enjoy some new pictures of the babies:)
"Anderson at swimming...don't you just love the goggles on his head!"
"Emma doing what she does best....smiling"
"We purchased six baby chicks last week to raise for eggs. My mom and dad are going to build a coop....wish us luck!"
"Emma was 8 months on the 19th....crazy right? She will no longer let the paper sit behind her stating the dater and her age. At least you can see the 8"

Have a great week and as always....thank you for supporting zbeadz!

"Fun Weekend"
For those of you that celebrate I hope you had a wonderful Easter filled with family, friends, and fun; we sure did! Yesterday morning we went to church thinking the kids would have a fun morning in Sunday school. I didn't know it but the church wasn't offering Sunday school so Anderson, Emma, and Kayleigh all came to the service with me. Anderson and Emma did great and Kayleigh seemed to enjoy it as well. After that we stopped in the cafe for some cake and cookies and then headed to my moms so Kay could get her Easter basket since she had to head home before we went over there later in the day. I called "Mr. Bunny" on the way home so he could hide all the eggs. Anderson wanted them to be hidden outside but it was raining so the bunny hid them downstairs. Anderson had a great time finding them and then found his basket in his closet. Emma and Kayleigh also had a basket but Emma was to young to understand and Kayleigh understands to much....lol.
Then we headed to Grandma Jane's for lunch and my mom and dads for dinner and another egg hunt. My mom loves to get the kids big baskets so they had a great time going through everything. Anderson has enough candy to last him three months since he is only allowed to have one piece a day.
Here are some of my favorite pictures from the day.
Kayleigh, Anderson, and Emma right after they all found their Easter treats.

The cutest Easter bunny I have ever seen! Thanks Susie for the adorable Easter shawl you got for Emma at my baby shower!

Anderson and Kayleigh coloring eggs. We tried a new kit this year and I wasn't a fan. You colored the eggs and then rubbed glue and foil paper on them. Kayleigh got them to work great but I on the other hand failed .
We had a great day and enjoyed the family time.
I also have two new bead sets for the day.
"Neon"
and "Olive Star"
I would also like to share some of my spring/summer favorites.....
"Sea Baby"
"Summer Seas"
"Mermaid"
"Spring Splash"....I love this one!
and
"Lemon Ice"....This is my absolute favorite color of yellow. I have loved this color for years and now it's everywhere which is great for me!
Thanks so much for supporting my site and following my blog. I hope you have a wonderful week and enjoy the new beads.

"New Products"
I have been busy this weekend working on new headband designs and one new bead design. I was asked earlier in the week to make my "Toffee Crunch" set in some fun tropical colors. Here it is.....a bright new set called "Spring Smash"
Isn't it fun? I can't wait to see a bracelet made out of this one!
I aslo made an adorable Easter headband. I know it's next weekend but I have them ready to mail out. If an order is placed before noon I can get it in the mail that day. If it's ordered after noon I will mail it out the next day. I'm going to post a picture of the four designs I made this weekend but I can make them in any color you need. I'm not going to create a listing for these since they are seasonal so just shoot me an email if you would like to lace an order. I can do sizes 0-6mo, 6-12mo, 12-3t, and 3t & up. I can also make these into clips for older girls:)
Here's my little headband model showing you what they look like on:)

I hope you enjoy the new goodies and have a great week!

"Pictures"
Sometimes my family comes to my site to see pictures of the kids and keep track of what is going on with us. I've had a special request from my Aunt Cathy to add a few of the kids to share with her co-workers. Here you go Aunt Cathy....these are for you:)
"Just look at the sweet little face!"
"Emma and Anderson on the carousel at the Akron zoo last week"

"Emma in her first party dress for her Aunts baby shower"
"The next two we took today just for Aunt Cathy! Anderson holding Emma up because she was laughing and falling over"

"Emma doing what she does best....smiling"

There you go...aren't they adorable!

"Almost Gone!"
I just finished editing the bead sale below and what is left on there is all I have. Plus, I have lowered the price of each set be $2.00 which is the lowest it will go:) Thank you to those of you who have taken them off my hand. Now that I'm not doing craft shows with my jewelry it's a little harder to get rid of things like that. I will however be jumping back into the show rotation with the baby headbands. It's something that I don't usually see at shows so I figure it might be something different and fun. I am waiting on one of our shop customers to drop a book off for me of all the local shows and then I'll go from there.
Emma turned 7 months on the 19th! I can't believe how fast the time goes by. Before we know it we'll be planning her first birthday party. I'm sure some of you know about pinterest; I have already began pinning ideas for her party!
Here's her 7 month picture.

Just look at those cheeks!
I'll be working on some new bead sets this week as well as some more headbands. If you know of anyone that has a little girls or know someone that is having a baby girl could you please forward them my site? Thanks! Have a wonderful week and I'll be back soon with new goodies!

"The big bead bowl clean out!"
Over the past year I have been left with orphan beads. sometimes I use a few from a set and not the rest and other times customers in my store front order beads and decide it's not what they wanted....either way they slowly accumulate. I had two bowls over flowing and decided it was time to do my first ever clean out sale! All of the beads have been annealed and cleaned just like my others but they just need a home. I have sorted them into nice groups and priced them at 50%-60% off normal pricing. It's a great way to get beads for earrings, pendants, or asymmetrical bracelets. Who doesn't love a great deal? I know I do!!!!
It is a lot of work to make a listing for each individual group so I have listed them with their prices on my home page. To order them just send me an email of what sets you would like and I'll send you a paypal. These sets will be first come first serve so if two people order the same set then the email I received first will be the winner. I will email you if someone got their order/email in first and will be checking my email frequently until all of the sets are sold out; once they are sold I will mark them as such. Have fun and enjoy the new goodies! Ps: as always, shipping is $3.00 and I also have the new headband category up and running....click here to view the new styles.
Bead Bowl Clean Out!!!!

Red, White, and Blue $11.00

"Goodies on the way!"
I am so excited for some of the things I have to share with you in the next week or two. Along with making beads I am now making headbands for babies and little girls. I have been making Emma headbands for the past few months and the question "oh my gosh where did you get that?!?!" is asked of me every time she has one on. It's something I love to do so I figure why not! I am currently in the process of photographing, sizing, and putting everything together and will post them on the site soon. You can even do custom orders for team colors, holidays, baptism, etc.
More exciting news....we purchased a new computer last weekend! As soon as I figure out the picture program and get my photo resizing program uploaded I can add pictures again. Wait until you see Emma....she's getting so big! And guess what, Anderson has finally come around and is so nice to her. He loves playing with her, gives her kisses, makes her laugh. I love it!
Ok, we're headed out for the day. It's beautiful outside and we have a few errands to run before we head to the park with our friends. Have a great week and I'll be back soon with new goodies!

"Oh My!"
Ugh...the fact that I haven't updated in a month is ridiculous! Having a second child has completely threw me into a whirlwind that I can't seem to recover from. I seriously think I am going to start a weekly calender of things to do on what days to see if that can help me get into the swing of things again because this unorganized me is driving me nuts!
So since it's been so long I'll update you with a bit of what has been going on. Anderson is doing great in preschool and loves it most days. Sometimes he gets into a funk and doesn't want to go but who wouldn't want to stay home with their mommy all day:) He had a Valentine party on the 14th which I was a room mom for but didn't get to attend because Emma was sick. Anderson caught a cold which turned into a nasty cough and then passed it to Josh, then Emma, and then me....luckily I only got a few days of sniffles. My girlfriends and I decided that when you have children some uninvented chip should be entered into your body that allows you to never be sick again...lol. It's hard enough being a mommy and then being sick and still having to do everything normal is the hardest thing ever.
Emma is getting so big! I had her to the doctor the other day for her 6 month check up and she is 17 lbs. I'm not sure how close she is to Anderson's growth...I'll have to look in his baby book. She absolutely adores her daddy and brother! She smiles every second of they day but they seem to get the biggest smiles out of her....especially daddy<3 She is such a sweet blessing. If you remember Anderson wasn't very fond of his sister when she arrived at our house; it's been 6 months but that is slowely changing. When he decideds it's ok he'll play with her, and other times "when he decideds" then he wants her to be passed off to someone else so he can have just mommy or just daddy time. I know it's all normal but it truely melts my heart when he decides he likes her and tries to make her laugh and smile. She of couse loves that her brother is actually paying attention to her:)
Yesterday I hosted a shower at my house for my best friend Lindsey that is due at the begining of April. We had such a great time and I had so much fun decorating and prepairing the menu for her special day. I have pictures but I'll have to upload them later. My aunt and cousin are in town and I'm headed to visit them in just a little bit. Tomorrow is their last day here so I have one more day of family fun time. I do however have a picture of the kids playing together which as I mentioned before I love to watch....

That toy is Anderson's word game and he likes to share it with Emma. He actually hasn't played with it in ages but once she wants to so does he:)
Don't forget that Easter is quickly approaching....here are some of my favorite beads for the season.

Enjoy and have a wonderful week!

"Sale Time!"
It’s that time of year
..SALE time! January and July are traditionally my slow months so I have a little extra time to make beads. The sale is the same as always
.buy three get one free within the same category. Example: If you purchase three sets you get a fourth set free, or if you purchase three single beads you get a fourth single bead free. When ordering never add your free set to your order, always write the name of the free items in the message box when checking out. I will run the sale for as long as I can handle the work load. Once it becomes too much and I’m about three weeks out on shipping I’ll stop the sale. Sometimes it goes for one day and sometimes it’s been three days I never know. Shipping on these beads is first come first serve. If your order within the first three orders the will go out by Monday and after that it gets longer. I’ll email you your expected shipping date when I receive your order. If you have any questions please feel free to email me. Have fun shopping and thank you for supporting my site!

"5 Months"
Can you believe that Emma is 5 months old already!?!? This time just goes by so fast that it's hard to believe. We spent some time taking pictures last night for her 5 month birthday and this is my favorite.....always a happy baby.

I know here eyes look dark in this picture but they are definitely blue....just like Josh and Anderson. I'm the only one with brown; I guess my "dominant" gene isn't that strong...haha.
Anderson has been doing a lot better with Emma and has even started to become protective of her. He also wants her to go every where we go. One day josh was joking with him saying that he was taking Emma to the store with him and Anderson almost started crying. At least he acts like he likes her cause he doesn't always show it:) Here he is playing with her....a usually rare moment that's becoming more common.

I love this picture:)
Ok....here are the new beads. I'd update more but Miss. Emma is sitting on my lap screaming as I type:)
First up...."Flower Patch"
Second..."Topaz Kiss"
I have also opened the Valentines Day, Easter, and St. Patrick's Day sections.
Just click on the picture above or go to the "Shop for Beads" section to view everything. I hope your having a wonderful day and enjoy the new goodies!
